Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how to cancel a howtostudychess Pro subscription and how refunds are handled.

Cancelling

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Plan & billing. International subscribers manage or cancel through the Stripe billing portal; subscribers in India cancel their Razorpay subscription from the same place.

When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. After that, your account reverts to the free plan and you are not charged again.

Refunds

• Subscription payments are generally non-refundable, since cancelling stops all future charges and you keep access through the paid period.
• If you were charged in error, or you believe you’re entitled to a refund under applicable law, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we’ll review it in good faith.
• Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.

Failed or duplicate payments

If a payment fails, your subscription may pause until the payment method is updated. If you were charged more than once for the same period, contact us and we’ll refund the duplicate.
